I got the potentiameter that the vin says I need, got home and it's a 6 prong, mine is a 3 prong and has an extra sensor under the pedal.

Decided to try updating the harness to the 6 prong, but nowhere in town had one, so with the old potentiameter that I rubbed numbers off trying to read them found one that appeared the same as old one. Installed, took for 30 min test drive, and seemed problem solved. Did some research on the potentiameter that I had put on and it's for Detroit.

Now I have the Potentiameter with the 6 prong and have ordered the harness or cable assembly for that one. Do you know if the pedal I have will work with this other style potentiameter? Or should I be trying another potentiameter. The only 3 prong one for cummins that I can find says for cummins celect.
